Electrochemical Nano-Materials and System Lab

The electrochemistry is concerned with the study and exploitation of the transference of electrical charges across interfaces and through solution. The electrochemical deposition base on the electrochemistry has been much attention due to its low-temperature working conditions, cost-effective process and precise control over the thickness and composition. And this technique is widely used to deposit metals, alloys, semiconductors and conducting polymers, and new applications in the nanotechnologies are just some of the examples.
This program helps students to understand electrochemistry, and to synthesis nano-structured materials by the electrochemical deposition. It also aims to understand physical and electrical properties of nano-structured materials and to apply various electronic device applications.
